My name is Tauwan Pasikang ( some may call me Jennifer), I am Paiwan from the kaviyangan village (佳平部落), Pingtung. Currently, I am a master's student at the Graduate Institute of Linguistics.

I am a language lover, I believe one language is one world.  I had been exchanged to Córdoba, Spain, for 1 year in 2022. By doing so, I learned Spanish in an emersion environment, which was a tense and unforgettable experience for me. This experience reshape my idea of language learning. 
 

I am still on my language-learning journey, constantly working to improve my skills in Taiwanese Hokkien, Spanish, and especially my father tongue, Paiwan. By studying linguistics, I acquire and apply linguistic theory to my language learning methods, and continually contribute to the digital documentation of the Paiwan language.
