Cómo estás?

    I am tauwan (or Jennifer), I am a paiwanese (排灣族). I grew up in a mountain area, kaviyangan (佳平部落) located in Pingtung. Currently I am a senior student from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature.

​

I am a language lover, I believe a language is a world.  I had been   exchanged to Córdoba, Spain, as an exchange student for 1 year in 2022. By doing so, I was learning  Spanish in an emersion environment, which was a tense and unforgettable experience for me. 

 

As for now, I am learning my father tone, the paiwan langauge,  little by little.  Since I am a mixed blood, my first language, the most fluent speaking language, is Mandarin Chinese. ​

I am still on my language learning journey, I try to improve all the languages I speak now (Mandarin, English, Spanish,  Taiwanese Hokkien, paiwanese), by  listening, reading, and, most importantly, speaking with to people. 

 

I have encountered many difficulties in speaking, yet I will keep trying. Glad you are with me!
